Activate Feature.

Change Columns manually for the list (Emgage | Video Center Brightcove Collection Mapping )

Add an entry in the web.config file to remove  the Timeout error

 

Add Solution (Emgage.Prime.BrightCove.wsp)

  1. Go to Start and find SharePoint Management Shell and start it with Run as Administrator.
  2. Move to the folder where .wsp is available.
  3. Type following command in the console.

          Stsadm -o Addsolution -filename “<Path>\Emgage.Prime.brightcove.wsp”

  1. Hit Enter from keyboard. This will add “Emgage Brightcove.wsp” to the environment.
  2. Follow these same steps for the Prime.VideoCenter.wsp.

Deploy Solution (Emgage.Prime.BrightCove.wsp)

  1. Type following command in the console.

           Stsadm -o Deploysolution -name “Emgage.Prime.Brightcove.wsp” -immediate -allowgacdeployment -url “<SiteCollectionURL>”

  1. Hit Enter from keyboard. This will deploy “Emgage.Prime.Brightcove.wsp” to the environment.
  2. Follow these same steps for the Prime.VideoCenter.wsp.

Activate Feature

  1. After successfully deployment of both the wsps.
  2. For SharePoint 2010 -- Go to Site Action > Site Settings > Site Collection features.
  3. For SharePoint 2013 -- Click on Gear icon > Site Settings > Site Collection features.
  4. Activate feature “Emgage | Brightcove List Templates, Pages and Web Part”.If it is already activated then Deactivate and reactivate it.
  5. Activate feature “Emgage | Video Center”.If it is already activated then Deactivate and reactivate it.
  6. Go to Start menu on desktop.
  7. Press Windows + R key, this will open Run command.
  8. Type Services.msc.
  9. This will open Services Dialog for the Server.
  10. Look for the SharePoint Timer service and restart.

Change Columns manually for the list (Emgage | Video Center Brightcove Collection Mapping )

  1. For SharePoint 2010 -- Go to Site Action > View All Site Content.
  2. For SharePoint 2013 -- Click on Gear icon and select Site Contents.
  3. Go to “Emgage | Video Center Brightcove Collection Mapping” list.
  4. Go to List Settings.
  5. Click on Create Column.
  6. Create column as VideoCount as given below.

  1. click Ok.

Add an entry in the web.config file to remove the Timeout error

  1. When video center synchronization process is running it may take some more time to complete at that time a Request Timeout error is generated. So to get rid of this error one entry in a web.config file to make it work.
  2. Search for the httpRuntime tag under System.web section.
  3. If it is available then add an attribute of executionTimeout = “9000” in it otherwise copy and paste below given line:

<httpRuntime executionTimeout="9000" />
