This article shows how to configure and view the Facebook Feed for Prime 365

​Who can configure Facebook?

​User who have "permission can configure Facebook for all site collection users. Generally, site collection owner's group members have "Manage Web" permission for site collection. 

How can I add a Facebook Web Part?​

1. Login with valid credentials.

2. Click on Edit Page.

3. Click 'Add a Web Part' on the page.

4. Select Apps from the Categories.

5. Select Facebook Feed from the parts​.

6. Click on Add Button.

After Adding Facebook Feed App Part​, User can see message that states 'This App Part has not been configured​​.  Please contact your Administrator to get started​.’

User can configured the Facebook App part using below Subscription

  • ​​ Configure 'Open' Facebook App Part

  •  Configure 'Controlled' Facebook App Part​

1) Configure 'Open' Facebook Web Part

Step 1: Access the Subscriptions

When you have 'Open' subscription type selected in the tool part, users can subscribe to any publicly open Facebook page. Of course, a user needs to have permission to access the 'gear'.
 
The permissions can be managed in the Tool Part of this web part.
 

​Step 2: Manage the subscription

Users can subscribe to as many as four different Facebook pages and Users can click 'Done' to save changes, or 'Cancel' to discard changes.
 
                                                           
To see all your Facebook feeds you must configure AppID and AppSecretKey as shown in a figure below
 
                                 

2. Configure "Controlled" Facebook Web Part

Step 1: Access the Subscriptions​

When you have 'Controlled' subscription type selected in the tool part, users can subscribe to only
the pages specified in the Emgage | Prime Facebook list, also specified in the toolpart. A user needs to have permission to access the 'gear'. The permissions can be managed in the Tool Part of this web
part.
 
​Step 2: Manage the subscription ​
 
- Users can simply check and uncheck Facebook pages to subscribe and unsubscribe to feeds from that page.
- Full Control users can check, lock, and uncheck Facebook pages. If a page is locked by a Full Control
user, only a full control user can unlock that page. Other users cannot unsubscribe from that
Facebook page.
 

                                 


All Facebook Pages specified in the list are listed here.
​Users can click 'Done' to update the subscriptions, or click 'Cancel' to cancel any changes.​
 

​How the order of Feed maintained when multiple accounts configured?

​The most recent Feed of all the added accounts are displayed based on 'Number of Feeds' option.

​Yes, you can configure the Facebook Feed for site and subsites in site collection separately.
