Who can configure weather?
The Users who are a member of "Atera Prime Weather Administrators" and having "Manage Web" permission can configure weather for all site collection users. Generally, site collection owner's group members have "Manage Web" permission for a site collection.
How can I add a weather?
Before you add Weather app part you must have to in under edit page mode.
1. Click on Edit page option from upper left corner.
2. Click 'Add App Part' to Bring up the web part Gallary.
3. Select the Weather app part from the web parts list.
4. Click on Add button.
How can I configure the weather app part?
Click on Gear icon from the right side bottom of the corner.
When you clicked on setting gear icon then that will show you setting part of the app part which is displayed same like following image.
Above image you can see that there are two text boxes. these are for the entering the cities which are user wants to be show.
User can configure this app part using three different kind of data.
- User can enter City
- User can enter State
- User can enter Zip
Can I configure weather for site and sub sites in site collection separately?
Yes, you can configure weather for site and sub sites in site collection separately.
